Report a Scam

We are aware of ongoing sales scams in which individuals falsely claim to represent Qorvantis Security. These impostors may knock on your door in an attempt to get access to your home security system by saying they need to inspect the system, replace batteries, or offer upgrades or special incentives.

In some cases, scammers may claim that Qorvantis Security has gone out of business. They may also tell you that your contract has ended or offer to buy out your existing agreement if you sign a new one. THIS IS ALL SCAM! According to a research published on Pew Research Center, more than 70% of US adults have encountered some kind of scam. 

Qorvantis Security will never request access to your home or system without proper verification or prior confirmation. If you encounter suspicious activity, contact your local Qorvantis Security office immediately to verify the request and protect your safety. Here are some tips:

• Ask for identification. If you have any doubts, contact our office directly for verification. We never arrive unannounced for installations, service visits, or equipment upgrades.
• Never share personal or financial information unless you have confirmed the salesperson is an authorized representative of the company they claim to represent.
• Don’t be deceived by the name or logo: Be aware that imposters may wear clothing displaying the Qorvantis Security name or logo. Even so, always request proper identification—our legitimate representatives are happy to verify who they are.

• Never sign contracts at your door. 
  
  Protect yourself and your neighbors by reporting suspicious behavior and helping stop these unsafe and unethical practices. If a situation escalates or feels threatening, report the incident to your local police department, the Better Business Bureau, or your State Attorney General’s office immediately.
