The beeping sound from your security system may indicate a low battery, a tamper alert, or another system notification. The procedure to silence or resolve the issue depends on your security panel:

  • IQ Panel 2 & IQ Panel 4: Swipe down from the top of the screen and check the notifications for system alerts. Follow the on-screen instructions to acknowledge or resolve the issue.
  • 2GIG Panel: Press the “Status” button to view system alerts. If needed, enter your user code to silence the beeping.
  • DSC NEO: Press the * key twice to view the trouble condition, then follow the system prompts. Enter your master code if required to acknowledge alerts.

If the beeping continues, try disarming and rearming your system to reset any active alerts. For low battery warnings, allow time for the backup battery to recharge after a power outage.

If the issue persists, contact us immediately for assistance.
